This unique textile art doll could make a beautiful gift for a loved one or just for you. He could be a centrepiece in any room of the house, filling up space with an undeniable charisma by attracting attention each time you pass through.
This OOAK doll was made by me using ethically sourced British wool. I am proud create art dolls of natural fibers and upcycled materials. I don't use any patterns or moldings. Each my doll is unique.
By using wire inside for a sculpture armature his body is malleable into different postures (can stand with support) and can be used for different occasions as Christmas decor, Easter etc.
Material: The wool is wrapped around the wire and shaped by stabbing fibres repeatedly with a barbed needle. It time consuming slow art work. Eyes made of polymer clay by me. Clothes made from upcycled textiles.
